We have a very limited quantity of stripe kits available. These are produced by the original manufacturer, using the same quality 3-M materials and production techniques as the ones made for your car when it was manufactured. These are as close to original as you can get without the aging issues associated with NOS stripes. You’ve just spent thousands of dollars painting your car, don’t settle for a cheaper product.
Is authenticity important to you? All of the other stripe kits on the market have problems with them. The gold color in the 1969 Mach I stripe kits other manufacturers use is not the same as the originals. 3-M changed the color formula twenty years ago, but we negotiated to have some of the correct material produced. Other repros have a "yellow" gold, but the originals were a burnished gold - which is what you get when you order a stripe kit from us. The center stripe and "mach 1" on our kits is an overlaid vinyl, which is how it was done originally. Other reproductions are actually painted on. How cheap can you get? Our Boss 302 stripe kits have the correct reflectivitity where its supposed to be, along with correct radiuses of curvature. Other companies "copied" a kit and didn't quite hit the mark. Laser stripes have the correct dual dot pattern. The "other guys" choose to make it easier on themselves and only use one dot pattern. It looks the same from a distance, but up close the difference is obvious.
Are you looking for "sorta close" or are you looking to restore your classic car, to return it to its showroom condition? Other companies choose to figure out how to make the kits as cheap as possible. We choose to have them redone with original tooling so they would be as accurate as possible. If you want the original look, you want these kits.
These stripe kits are not sold anywhere else. You can only get them here at MartiAuto.com
